Aftermath
We all know what to expect this time of the year
For a dangerous weather system we must prepare
Yes some places may be lucky to be spared
Whilst other may get hit so hard and for their safety we prayed
And in their wake there leave path of pain and destruction
The aftermath can be a piteous sight on inspection
As we see what is the result of such wrath and fury
And in the process there are many who have such cause to worry
The great damage cause by the wind an of course the rain
And the water in such force those seawalls find it hard to co
Moving at such a pace and like in anger show now respect
And the resulting damage is on many is like pain that it inflict
Those many homeowners felt great hurt and even such pain
When they went the insurance companies to lay that claim
Being so damaged mentally by the wind, sea surges and the rain
Then they chose this moment for the terms of the policy to explain
