When you aren't taught how to feel love
Or emotions
It can suddenly feel intoxicating
Like they're lying
They are playing tricks
The love is so deep
You just weep
You think they're trying to harm you
All they were ever taught was love
Purity
Serenity
All you ever made them feel was toxicity
Like you're harming them
You just aren't meant to be together
You're meant to teach each other a lesson
You teach them to watch out for liars and deception
They taught you kindness does exist and love is real
They also taught you not everyone lies
Didn't they also show you people care
Even when you refused to believe in them
That rejection and hurt hit them hard
They realised you were here for a reason
You taught them a valuable lesson
God had indeed sent you
They didn't realise until now
Eventually the grudges go away and they forgive you
The pain they saw was your guilt
What you saw was their disappointment
Disappointed that they couldn't love you
Or care for you because sometimes people don't adapt well to change
They hurt people and don't care who they hurt
Even their friends and after the damage is done its too late to reverse it
