The New Love
This can bring lots of pleasure and too lots of pain
But those historical sentiments definitely still remains
When smitten has such power can still exerts control
Because the afflicted one it always has a strong hold
What a great effect it has on that mind
That attractive force make one think about the other all the time
But it can make that imagination to run so wild
And those thoughts so intense can bring out a pleasant smile
Feeling theatrical this can bring on a mood so debonair
And make such speeches with such a poetic flair
And too what a moment for have a feeling of levity
That one can feel the heart beating some happily
Yes there is not always happiness but sometimes pain
Because the one loved may have someone differ in their mind's frame
And know matter the efforts will not reciprocate
Breaking that heart, this is just a bit of fate
Today this love is measured in the form of economic power
As the tendency it to seek out an equally qualified partner
So the intent is to form relationships that are assortative
As having that economic base seems to be more attractive
So today this is saying now and this is the stance
They are stating that there shall be no romance without finance
And on listening today this is being said daily
