The Backyard Of My Life

She Comes To Me

When i was down and out lost all alone in the dark abyss
Death was waiting for me with a silent sweet tender kiss
I was all out of faith fading fast when out of nowhere
She comes to me and she slips me a little love letter
Now its another diamond day and things are getting better

She comes to me in the morning
She comes to me after midnight
She comes to me without warning
She comes to me like a guiding light

With the weight of the world on my shoulders its all too much to take
If all my dreams were made of glass it looked like they were about to break
I was still in shock sinking slowly when all of a sudden
She comes to me and whispers a secret in my ear
Now i feel like letting go and my problems drift away and disappear

She comes to me my angel child
She comes to me when i need her the most
She comes to me with eyes of passion so wild
She comes to me so i can lay down with my ghost

When i was hurt and hiding in the shadows of solitude and space
She could see beyond the veil behind the mask on my face
I was so sick and tired of the lonely life down on the bottom line
She comes to me like a bluebird on the wire
Now i can share with somebody my deepest desire

She comes to me like a hurricane
She comes to me with a heart full of love
She comes to me like the dirty driving rain
She comes to me like a hand in glove
