As long as He is a child,
Is no different from a slave;
He will be Lord undefiled.
Crucified and into a grave.
But He is under guardians,
Managers until a set date;
For all the righteous champions,
That will enter the narrow gate.
When we were children and enslaved,
In bondage under the factors;
Of this world how we have behaved,
By the secular distracters.
When the fullness of time arrives,
God sent forth His Son being born;
To redeem every one that thrives,
As adopted sons that sojourn.
Because you are sons and daughters,
God sent His Spirit in your heart;
Dunked in the baptismal waters,
That is giving us a fresh start.
So you are no longer a slave,
Rather being an heir through Christ;
That the Father assured to save,
From earthly things that have enticed.
