The Girl In The Picture
Her hair is full and looks like mine once did
The coat she is wearing
I had one that looked exactly like it
It has a hood
The way the buttons are closed
Looks like rope around them tied in knots
Hands in her pockets
Perhaps to keep them warm
Behind her are barren tree branches hanging down
The girl in the coat
Reminds me of me
Many many years ago
The smile on her face
Reminds me of how I once smiled
She looks humble just like me
Full of happiness
She is young and has lots of dreams and schemes
Living in the moment
Her future is not ours to see
Who knows who and what
She will become
I was once that girl in the picture
Mind, body, heart, and soul

Humility is nothing else but a right judgment of ourselves.
