MINUTES AGO

I was married...
Dancing beneath the silvery moon
Mesmerized by a garden of captivating stars
Sounds of the ocean waves so charming

Soft sands felt like fingers
Between each toe
Gently
Massaging and soothing
My throbbing feet instrumentally

A delicate breeze caringly
Runs across my shoulders
Reminding me
I am alone
For you walked away with no remorse and no hesitation

I will not bury my head in the sand
