AFTERMATH

PLEASE WAKE ME UP

WAKE ME UP IF I SLEEP TOO LONG

I was up all-night playing games
Some of them I didn't know their names
Playing drinking games with some of my buds
We all were enjoying our suds
Nobody must work, we all are retired old guys
We sneak out of the home, don't ask me why
The other sport we enjoy is golf
Just because we have so much time off
When I was young, I was a real rebel
Now in my eighties, my e-bike is my staple
At night we learned to sneak out
Getting out for drinks at night is what it is about
Now my body parts are falling apart
Just to get out of bed, I wake up soar from the start
In my mirror I don't like looking old
In my eighties now I am always so cold
But I am still rough and tuff
But my body says enough is enough
Only time I feel good is when I'm drunk
My bud calls drinking time, well there's another night sunk
PLEASE
WAKE ME IF I SLEEP TO LONG
