AFTERMATH

AS I WALK DOWN LIFE'S ROAD

AS I WALK DOWN LIFE'S ROAD

What road did you travel in this life?
Did you do it alone, or take on a wife?
Did you plan your trip? Or see where it takes you?
Always told plan your future, how many actually do?
Lot's of people already know what they want ahead
Some of us stumble along instead
Take one day at a time and roll the dice
My road was far from planned, some bad some nice
Now that time has gone by so fast
Taking challenges one at a time was my task
This point in my life not much road remains
Just enjoy life and no one else complains
Let stroll down that road of memories
Take a friend along relive lots of stories
Just remember the good times not the bad
No fun remembering the bad times that make us sad
Don't want the ground beneath our feet to erode
AS I WALK DOWN LIFE'S ROAD
