The Backyard Of My Life

Here's A Wish (From The Whirlpools End)

Here's a wish from the whirlpools end
Where fantasy and reality begin to bend
Here's a dream from my gold mine
Girl go gather those pearls and swine
Maybe tomorrow we can ride on a twilight train
Dance all night drinking pink champagne

Here's a request from the rainbows end
On a velvet morning to a secret friend
Here's a desire from deep inside
Lets always take the time to never let things slide
Maybe yesterday was only a flicker in the flame
Kiss me under moon light in the falling rain

Everything's electric with the look of love in your eyes
After so long of been cast away under stormy skies
The heavens opened up to shine a light on you and me
Counting the bars on an iron cage we were finally free

Here's a wish from the bottom of the waterfall
I knew you where waiting to answer my call
Here's a vision from my minds eye
There's no need to pretend no need to act so shy
Maybe somewhere far far out in space
We can fly past Venus and mars to find the perfect place

Here's a pretty penny from the wishing well
For a holiday in heaven to escape from this hell
Here's the holy grail from a book that i found
Silence is golden and makes a secret sound
Maybe tomorrow we can runaway beyond the hills
Meet me in Monte Carlo to get our kicks and thrills
