Lord have mercy that day!

When my mind was somewhere
Between alive and not so alive
When my heart was between beating fast and beating slow
When my tears were between wet and dry
Angels gave me comfort.
Without harsh judgement like man

A quantum leap
Which only a birth sibling can feel
Blessed with loving vision
I stand with the gift of invisible flowers
That will never perish
Or be trampled on

They will never need water
They will never wilt
They will never bend
They will never dwindle
They will never crumble
They will never perish
They will never die
