OUR SISTER LOST

OUR LOST SISTER

Oh sister, oh sister where did you go?
We keep looking for you, but we don't know.
In your younger years, always ready to try any new thing.
Lots of stories would always bring.
In the middle of winter, wearing your shorty shorts.
Working in a warehouse in a party dress, seemed out of sorts
But brought a laughter to people on a bad day.
Happiness followed you around, what more can I say.
OUR LOST SISTER
Cancer is such an evil disease.
Takes the person we knew with such ease.
The treatments sometimes worst than the illness
In some cases, it works, helping to live longer with wellness
But the sister we all knew now seems to be lost
If we could get the cure, we would at any cost.
OUR LOST SISTER
Her mind and body have turned against her.
Giving everyone around her a stir
All we can do now is try to give her comfort.
No matter how she feels out of sorts.
For what ever time she may have left
Help and comfort her till her last breath.
OUR LOST SISTER
