You die with my hand on your head
I felt your soul leave your body
Light as a feather
It was quick and painless
On the 1st of April 2023 aged 66
We were talking about a weekend away to visit family
Then I rescued you and others helped too
It's unforeseen to have a cardiac arrest
Yet being a widow for 26 years
I being your baby girl am so grateful to have had the honour to care for you
To have held you in your last breath
To have felt your soul leave your body
I love you too much
It really hurts that my best friend was getting sick and I was there no matter what
I had my responsibility but I still put you first
I still honoured you more than myself
You were my life
We has ups and downs but I never once had hatred in my heart
I knew you never did either
To be taken into cardiac arrest and given time
So I could kiss you and hold you
I could feel your soul leave your body
Then wash you and make you presentable to everyone on junaza
Dad died aged 66 and on April 1st 1997
You had 23 grandkids who loved you very much
2 great-grandkids who will always pray for you
6 kids who will always honour your legacy
You were gone in Ramadan at 107 am on Jumah in the Islamic calendar
You and dad are made for each other
You are meant to be together forever
For all eternity and you will meet in the soul world (birzaq)
You and him were loved by a multitude of people and nobody will ever forget you both
Especially me or your brothers, sisters, grandkids, daughters or sons
Even the neighbours and your friends
You passed away with your finger holding shahada and you had a peaceful glow on your face
I was so glad to see you passed away with a smile on your face
It was just beautiful mum
Thank you and someone can only dream of having a beautiful kind hearted soul like you
You were open minded and never judged anyone may Allah forgive everything and widen your grave
May you now join dad in birzaq and your best friends and be happy for all eternity
