AFTERMATH

JUST A WALKING AND TALKING

JUST A
WALKING AND A TALKING

Let's take a stroll down the street.
Who knows who we might meet?
So many people during their daily task
Joggers, always curious how long they will last.
Most are out just for their daily walk.
Others are outgoing when all they do is talk.
Either they are texting or talking on their daily trip
Some of their conversations I would rather skip.
Back in the day people used to meet and greet.
Everyone would sit and talk to whoever they meet.
Now a day's check out any coffee shop
Everyone is watching their phones not hearing a word drop.
New phones can do so many things.
For so many the happiness it brings
You can call, text, even take pictures if you want.
Whether you live in the city or on a beachfront.
Everyone lives in their own little world of their own.
They are so hooked on their phone.
Who knows what the next generation has in store?
I don't think life will be a bore.
