CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE

There is a blocking on your life path in the way.
With every tic of the clock everyday
For the patient their life is being suspended
They're not really living; they are very dependent.
They have no concept of time.
Scrambled thoughts are all they have not so fine.
Their admission of your visit is usually there.
Especially family who will always care
Patient tires so easily, falls asleep in just a wink.
Only a miracle can bring them back from the brink.
Some of the patients have no idea what is happening.
They have a lot more time for sleeping.
Most visitors' lives are now put on hold.
The patients only go by what they're being told.
Some patients don't realize they're dying.
Some argue back saying to the doctors you're lying.
Others are too frightened to admit their fate.
Because everyone does have an expiring date
But for those patients they are
CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE
