On Labor Day, we gather 'round,
To honor those whose work astounds,
The men and women, strong and true,
Whose efforts shape the world we view.
From fields to factories, offices too,
Laborers toil to see things through,
Their dedication, a driving force,
Behind progress, they stay the course.
With sweat on brows and calloused hands,
They build our cities, shape the lands,
Masons laying bricks, creating homes,
Plumbers fixing leaks, where water roams.
From nurses caring for the ill,
To teachers shaping minds with skill,
Laborers of every kind and trade,
In making the world, they never fade.
They wake up early, work till dusk,
Their commitment we must never dusk,
For the fruits they bear, that we enjoy,
We owe to them our utmost joy.
On this special day, let's take a pause,
To celebrate each laborer's cause,
A toast to workers, far and wide,
Whose contributions cannot be denied.
So raise a glass, with heartfelt cheer,
To those who labor year to year,
On Labor Day, we honor you,
For all that you do, we say thank you!
