OLD MAN-BRAIN LEAKAGE

OLD MAN-BRAIN LEAKAGE

As the years just roll on by
How true, the old saying boy time does fly
Where do I begin a man of my age?
Lately memory loss can put me into a rage.
Walking into a room, why am I here.
To forget my own name is my biggest fear.
The other day at the store I got teased.
Teased by costumers did not put me at eased.
Mom that man looks like grandpa.
Yes, he does, track pants and slippers and all.
Trying to find my glasses, only to be told.
Hey mister look on the top of your head, not saying your old
Thanks so much, I replied.
Under my breathe I lied
My new ideas used to flow in so easy.
But when I keep forgetting, drives me crazy.
I forgot more than could remember.
I will never give up, I won't surrender.
As time moves forward, more memories leak out.
That is part of ageing minds, is what life is about.
