AFTERMATH

Daddy Did Mommy

DADDY DID MOMMY
Mommy loves daddy for most of her life.
They stayed together through all their struggles and strife.
My parents loved each other.
Really loved my sisters and brother.
They were married over 50 years.
With lots of laughter and some tears
DADDY DID MOMMY
They met each other in high school.
He tried today here she had no interest as a rule.
Your father was too skinny for me.
But still he pursued her till she could see.
I am the one and only just for her.
One day I will get her emotions to stir.
DADDY DID MOMMY
I would win her over with all my schemes.
I never gave up on all my dreams.
I started to do weights and gain more muscle.
To gain her attention this was my new hustle.
Wearing tighter T-shirts to show off my new shape.
To me all I need is next to wear a cape
DADDY DID MOMMY
For her it was his humour that won her over
Of course, his body shaped didn't hurt made me an admirer.
Having all you kid surely didn't hurt.
Now with your father certainly glad I didn't skirt.
Your daddy is silly but makes me laugh.
I was the tough cookie on my behalf.
DADDY DID MOMMY
