AFTERMATH

I AM SEVENTY GOING ON SEVEN

I AM SEVENTY GOING ON SEVEN

That's what everybody keeps telling me.
I am having fun, making people laugh, it's what I see.
What's wrong with thinking young.
I am out just to have fun.
Making people laugh, that's my goal.
Laughter is good for everyone's soul.
I AM SEVENTY GOING ON SEVEN
My kids think there is something wrong with me.
Now in my mind, funny is what I see.
My wife keeps saying “will you quit.
I think she wants to put me in a corner and just sit.
So, while in the store, what's wrong with a dance
With my new idea, should I take a chance.
I AM SEVENTY GOING ON SEVEN
Some people just say I am a silly old man.
Making people laugh, not wrong I don't understand.
While waiting at the checkout saw something of course
Just because I rode the kid's mechanical horse.
My wife says people laugh at me.
I think it's fun, but do you agree.
