AFTERMATH

MIRROR MIRROR

MIRROR MIRROR
A REFLEXTION OF MY LIFE

You are hanging there for my truth to see.
I can't lie about my age especially me.
As a young child no sagging skin to drag
Such a cute child my mom would always brag
No mirrors can ever show any lie.
Even down to the sagging around my wrinkled eye
Mirror mirror hanging on the wall.
I watched my growth from short to tall.
Never do I worry about your truth.
Always knew what I looked like in my youth.
Now in my older age I don't like you.
It shows how old I grew.
Even try to stretch my skintight.
But even that has become a losing fight.
Oh, my mirror you honestly do hurt.
You will always be honest; you will never skirt.
What I see in you, how old I become
So sad I can't bring back my youth even some.

A REFLEXION OF MY LIFE
