Deathly Gaze
Look deep into the eyes of the dead
What did they see
That took away their will to live
Locking the gaze
Digging deeper
Did their life
Flash behind those eyes
Enveloped in agony
Pinpricks doused in gasoline
Screaming under their breath
Baggage so damaged
By the hands
That robbed them of their innocence
And their will to live
Peaceful Mona Lisa smile
Strike a match
Gaze at the fire
Vivacious flame
Devouring your will to live
