For You Karen;
For Your Strength And Your Attitude To Life!
You Can't Steal My Sunshine!
No-one can steal my sunshine,
For its all mine yessiree,
And no matter what happens in my life,
This sunshine belongs to me!
I have let people take it from me,
As I have tarried though my days,
But no more, not ever again,
I will live through a summer haze!
I have given shot after shot,
For people to take my smile,
But no more, not ever again,
For I have trodden that last mile!
This sunshine within my heart,
Is solely mine forever,
And it will be mine, as I walk,
Through the land of the never, never!
I'm tired of letting people take it,
But you see, I allowed it to be so,
But never again, not ever…!
Cos my sunshine will never go!
I am reinvesting it back to me,
And I will never let it fade away,
So here I am, being positive,
And that's how I'm going to stay!
