Her Heart it Beholds
Her heart it beholds
Till the end of time
All that's gone wrong
What she hasn't done right.
Her cheeks bear scars
Of long drawn trails
For her tears to follow
And shame her soul.
Her eyes are glossy
Fixed on nothing at all
Shadowing a path
That leads to all that hurts.
Her life tattered and broken
Never truly living at all
Just causing all she was
To slowly slip away.
