I've encountered in life and that's for sure many dawns,
Many problems and plenty of heartaches everywhere I'd gone
Every step sometimes seems so hard to take
But Jesus my Saviour is always there to give me a break
There are for sure certain those painful times when in
In the flesh soul and spirit things really hurt from within
Terrible moments of self-doubt that I'd rather just forget
In which sometimes I've foolishly wandered away from Him yet
But even then when I may had been lost in the eyes of my God
That's when He reaches for me more with His love and not His rod.
