 UNWANTED  POUNDS (Free Verse)

~Unwanted Pounds~
(Free Verse)

We did it one time for hunger and fun
It was so... uuummmmm so good we did it again
When I really noticed it was too late
New habit gave me all those unwanted pounds!

But anyway we continue to make a stop there
Bad habits sometimes are hard to break
Now I need to keep away
I can't even make it through one of those wide doors

Going to one those places for a fast bite
Sooner or later can give you a heart attack
You'll better soon stop all that foolish jazz
Or a little too early you'll end up inside the box

We all have done it for that first time
All good or bad habits started that way
Look at me poor me! now I live in my treadmill
All those unwanted pounds I need to lose!

One two three one two three one two three,
I guess for my sins with bloody sweat I have to pay
All those delicious hamburgers ooozing with so much fat
Have all gone to my super-sized hips tummy and thighs.

Authors notes:

Just a poem written for fun, but well is not really a fun topic based on all the talks and writes
stories I hear and read about people wanting to lose weight either be a pound
thirty or more.. for some folks it can be very painful and destructive and this is very sad.But anyway this is just
a fun write about the struggles most go thru in life about losing weight. I believe most folks can
  relate to this.
