Gimme Back Me Pies All Is Forgiven!
I sold the shop and what a mess,
Me head is up the wall,
I can't cope with all the stress,
Me body's gona take a fall!
I can't deal with tenants,
Who constantly moan at me!
All I want is a peaceful life,
Its not a lot to ask for you see!
What did I do, tell me?
I sold the shop and now I'm mad,
Cos I'm over worked and under paid,
And livid for giving up all I had!
I baked the cakes and made the pies,
And what a good job I did too!
People came from everywhere,
To sample but a few!
But now I lost it all…
When I sold that ruddy shop,
And all cos I wanted a change,
I'm working until I drop!
Gimme back me shop,
Gimme back me pies,
Gimme back the life I had,
Gimme release from the tears in my eyes!
