We've been friends for many years,
And have been through much together,
And through thick and thin, good and bad,
We've braved lots of stormy weather!
You are a genuine, loving person,
And a friend so good and true,
So on this special day of yours,
Much love comes shining through.
You've been my rock and supported me,
Through all the turmoil and pain,
And every time there's another blow,
You're there for me once again.
As friends go I have to say,
You are by far the best there could be,
So here I am, sending you birthday wishes,
Especially to you, from me!

My friend, both good and true,
