Could our love have lasted
I often question how?
Though many years have passed
You are still in my heart.
My Darling how I missed you
I yearn for you each day and night
As each morning comes in sight
Til' the day returns to night.
Whispering words to me so soft
In memory of all our love
As I wipe a tear from my face
In the darkness of all my nights.
