YOU

What I Like About You...

the jokes you tell, your big green eyes, the way gray keeps creeping into your beard, singing together, how you're just as content with a gourmet hot dog stand as you are a steak dinner, the way your nipples stand up, the sparse dark patch of chest hairs, your arms and how they fit so perfectly around me, the way you claim me with your words~your poetry, how I fit in your lap, your kisses~sweet and sensual and innocent gradually becoming more demanding...but sexy~never rough~never asking too much...just enough passion, the way you always know when I need a friend and the perfect things I need to hear to heal my soul, your hugs~Oh God your hugs, the way you look into my heart over the top of a coffee cup like only you can, your laugh...no matter how grey the sky is~we can always laugh together. You are and always will be my partner...Walk the same path as me. Teach me how to fly with you, not away from you. Together, we will claim the cerulean blue sky as our own. Tame this wild bird's heart. You alone hold it in your hands.
