When troubled or distressed my friend I am,
God hushes my woes and my fears,
He soothes my soul and heart and
Against His breast He holds me so close.
I refuse to be at all defeated
My eyes are upon His majestic face
As I am resting on His love divine
He will help me win each race
When circumstances threaten my life,
And weakness takes control of my heart and soul,
To rob me from all my peace of mind
In His divine Strength I will forever dwell.
