we sit around a tree my ghost and I
and reminisce of Christmases gone by
the gifts and smiles the tears I know I shed
forget the pain be glad there here instead
this night I will not deplore those I miss
but rather smile and blow them all a kiss
and all those wondrous eves
my heart though sad is blessed as it perceives
they are gone but I know they are with me still
they live in love and so forever will
so peaceful be your rest and my you find
a home as warm and loving as my mind
