Lord God Almighty,
We come to you this night,
For making this day alright;
Thank you that all was done,
Finishing all that was begun;
Now as we start our slumber,
Help us rest not to encumber;
Help us get our needed rest,
The morning brings new zest;
Ready to meet the new day,
Follow your path not to stray;
Guide me I ask not to sway,
This in Christ Jesus I pray.
