~As We Walk~
(Free Verse)
Within us all is shown kindness
In hopes that can catch a little scent
As the memories of home unfold
And dusts my lovely thoughts with frost
In icy pause of winter's nights
With choices that sometimes were wrought
Too many words that went unsaid
As I rush through another day
Before we all know life's slipped away
We whine,moan and cry in so much pain
A void so confused to fill us
With black ink and snowy white.
