~Fields Of Wheat~
(Free Verse)

Every time I look into your eyes
Something moves me deeply inside
Words always left unspoken
Hearts' betrayals trying to mend.

Silence frozen in mid-air
Fears the soul come to clame
Once a long time ago we were soulmates
But you see no more we hold that pledge.

Pain and sorrows came to steal and take
All we've worked so hard, and long
Years like golden wheat they were
Now are desolated fields laid to waste.
