Depression!
Depression, what's that?
Is it something we can't see?
The black thoughts in our heads,
Making us feel what we don't like to be.
Depression, deep dark thoughts,
Making us feel upset,
Thinking we are okay…
But weird thoughts are all we get!
Depression, blackened thoughts,
Race around our head!
What do we do, where do we go?
We live our lives in dread!
Depression, sadness, confusion,
All rolling around in our head,
On a roller coaster…downwards,
Wishing we were dead!
Depression, depression, depression,
What an awful affliction to bear,
Shunned by most, tossed aside,
Because they don't really care!
Depression…what is it…?
That causes us this pain?
That drives us to the edge,
And makes us go insane!
Depression, an imbalance…
Of the matter in the brain,
And one little blip is all it takes,
To send us all insane!
