They say everything comes to those who wait,
And all is well in time,
And that for everyone there is,
One day their lives will be good and fine.
I never thought that would happen for me,
And trust me I'm one who will know,
So for all these years I've had such trials,
The painful past I have now let go!
So I emerged one sunny day,
For out of the darkness into the light,
Threw the painful past away,
And there it was! My future bright!
In time it all comes to pass,
The reason for the hurt we suffer,
And when that happens, then we will see,
Just who it was that was our buffer!
For only one Being could buffer the hurt,
Only one Being from one special place,
Only from Him above, our God…!
He who we will never see His face!
But I don't need to see His face,
To believe that He is so,
For my belief is inside me…
And that's all I need to know!
So when you feel you can't go on,
And the strain is too much to bear,
Always, always remember,
He is always there!
