An Unopened Book

Nation Divided

I pledge allegiance to the flag,
Of the United States of America.
Praise our proud soldiers as they fight,
winning battles in the darkened night.
Bring hope to a country whose was lost.
Freedom comes with a horrible cost.
Ear piercing air sirens sound,
as the bombs drop to the ground.
Some soldiers will give it all,
pay the price and they will fall.
Praise those who didn't die in shame,
in Honor we say their names.
Stand up for your country, don't bring it down.
Stand up strong, we need your strength now.
Give support to the president, your not in his place.
You haven't seen the tears, in that mans face.
He knows people are dieing, screaming in pain.
But, he has to finish what he started, just the same.
Praise our God he sees what is going on,
He can't stop it if it's right or if it's wrong.
