A Prayer For A Friend And Her Son

"I wrote this for my friend when she was down and worried
for her son,all is fine now."

I said a prayer for your son today,

I hope it helps in some small way.

Hopefully he'll be home by tomorrow night,

Be given a chance to make things right.

It doesn't matter that I haven't seen him in over twenty years,

He's your son,your my friend,I feel your pain,I sense your fears.

I know your praying for Donielle and Elvis to get on track,

Maybe all this will encourage them to make a pact.

Hopefully they'll get the chance to start their life together,

If they stay strong there shouldn't be any problem they can't weather.

So my friend,I hope and pray for the best,

So you can put your heavy heart to rest.
