So Hard!
Bereavement is a funny thing,
You're on a high then low,
But put your trust in yourself,
And face the hurt and let the pain go!
Living in the past isn't easy,
And it's a long hard road ahead,
So when you wake one morning,
You have to shake off those feelings of dread!
There is a light at the end of the tunnel,
So everyone told me so…
Well at the moment I can see a beam!
Is my pain about to go?
Yes, I think it is,
For I have the strength of my dad,
He wouldn't want me to live in the past,
For that is truly sad!
So I am looking forward,
Though I have my ups and downs,
And with the teachings of my dad,
I'll shake off those miserable frowns!
So don't look back, look forward!
With hope in your heart you'll be…
So much happier, honest,
For that's a promise from me!
Locked inside your heart,
Your memories will always be…
And you'll remember without pain one day…
And once more happy times you'll see!
