A POET

If I Could Address The World

THE SEEDS THAT WERE PLANTED

A POET

To be a true poet, one must sometimes address,
The problems of a world that is in a great mess.
We speak on subjects that no one else will,
We do so for CHANGE, not just for the thrill.
Using our poetry as a type of platform,
We tell the world that it's time for reform.
Sometimes what we say will step on some toes,
But, when our words are facts...then that's how it goes.
To be a true poet, it's my dream to be,
So I can address all issues relating to you and me.
Spoke on and talked about this day and time,
And I'll do it all in the form of a rhyme!
