I thank God for sending you, the greatest thing in my life,
I love you so much, that I had to make you my wife.
We had a baby before marriage, some say it's a sin,
But, who knows when God plans for a new life to begin?
My wife, my mate, my friend above all,
You've always been there to pick it up, when I dropped the ball.
My support, my listener, my soft voice in hard times,
It is to you that I write these words and dedicate this rhyme.
Wishing I could give you more, knowing one day I can,
As long as I continue to develop into a better man.
We'll take this journey together, holding hands all the way,
We'll grow in God together, until that very day,
When we once again join our Creator, happiness will abound,
