 Teenager Jamie

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

My sunshine girl has reached the lucky thirteen,
That little niece of mine is now a Teen.
She stands tall and so very nicely slender,
As her inner strength shows off her gender.

She has played the field kicking a ball,
Swimming the waters flowing like a butterfly,
Still jumps so high to land those hoops,
And bouncing the ball without a fall.

Jamie is a young lady so brave and bold,
Especially as she awaits for the SAT score.
She plans ahead with her head held up high,
Only to be able to someday reach the sky.

Those beautiful dark eyes of hers,
Light up from the inside with her smile.
She is definitely a model figure for all to see,
As she walks with grace and much dignity.

Proud and very thankful am I,
For having Jamie as my niece by my side.
She glows with beauty and her charm,
A radiance so golden as the sun shines above.

I wish Jamie all of life's best,
Now and always to last for an eternity.
My love for her comes straight from the heart,
And she remains special deep in my soul.

Jamie was born on the same day as I,
And she remains the most precious gift to me.
I don't have children of my own,
But I still sing whatever will be, will be.

"Thank you so much,
that was so very nice,
and it's a really wonderful poem.
I love you so much and am so excited
as I turn thirteen!

Jamie"
