Slippery Slope

There you stand again on a mountain top
Standing still, but the world doesn't stop
You look to each side eyeing the way
Viewing the people who's choices are already made

On your right lies a well worn path
It's the safer choice and it's yours to have
So many have walked it a million times...
A path so weathered you could walk it blind

On your left lies a more slippery slope
It speaks of freedom, love, and hope
So many have tried to descend carefully...
But they end up falling eventually

So tell me now which path you will tread...
Do you walk with your heart?
Or with your head?
Turn to the slippery slope and hear its calling...
Know that it's into my arms...
You would be falling.
