Thoughts of a Mother

mysteries of life

It's nice outside but no one's in the street
Plenty of food in the stores but many people still don't eat
It's teachers in the school and students sitting at the desk
But still there's many adults who can't even spell guess
There's cops in the cars driving around the block
But still drug dealers on the corner selling crack rock
So what's the world coming to, how's it gonna end
When fighting your everyday enemies turn out to be your best friend
Close all the windows and lock all the doors
Throw away the keys and even make sure
All the blinds are closed so your kids can't look outside
Pray that your kids don't forget what you taught them as they go bye bye
I don't know what to say nor what I should do
Life's a real mystery to me, how is it for you.....
