Every LineEvery line upon your face Is a story being told~ Not one face can ever hide The past secrets of our soul~ The windows of your very souls Are your very own eyes~ We might think sometimes they wont tell all But they do ... all the truths and lies~ Our lines also show character All your attitudes and your ways~ Those same lines show deeds of kindness How you have been in by gone days~ These lines tell of broken hearts And of broken families too~ They tell where your priorities are And many many other things its true~ Anyone that can read they can tell Its all written there to see~ One can even tell what you are thinking Sometimes beyond compare~ If you are able to look deep within You can see the pain , the love , the strife~ Its written all there on your face in lines Of all you've been through in your life~ Terrence Michael Sutton copyright 1990 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
