Remember....

~THE SIG BOX~

....When we dressed up as silly as can be,
and sang our hearts out till content,
our fear of tricks or treats were put aside,
and teeth decayed from consumption inside.

.....When school was just a step away,
and later just slowly went astray,
we made fun of our schoolmates,
who some became our best of friends.

....When "yippies" roamed the streets,
bringing peace to all they greet,
along with sunflowers all so gold,
shouting out "peace on earth to all."

.....When we gave away faded clothing
only to see the fad return like molding,
and low rises became high rises,
stretching out to beyond the horizon.

....When we clinched in our hearts
the times of old to share with all,
and days of new are no more haunted
by days of past that have been mounted.

....."Remember When" we should not erase,
for we still breath with much embrace,
as Mother Nature changes time with beauty,
bringing fresh flowers in the Spring with fury.

.....When Autumn leaves lose their shades of red,
allowing the chill of winter to calm us all,
as the years of new provide us the chance....
to Remember when.......
