Reminiscent Of The Night Before
My ass is frozen,
I've rosy cheeks
From the walk to the bus,
Which totally reeks.
The sun's not up,
The cold has set,
My eyes, they water.
I try to forget.
The day has been ruined,
Probably my fault.
They all glare at me,
A silent assault.
Awake with the birds,
To early to tell
If time has stood still,
Am I in hell?
I cry to sad tunes,
In the soft twilight,
Awaiting the sun,
But it is still night.
What have I become?
Monster of no fate.
Scared, alone in the dark,
To be sorry, it's too late.
