 HOME OF THE FLOWING PEN

I Will Be


(Sometimes days are long.....written for my love)

I will be the wind...
Guiding your footsteps as you go
I will be the sweet song...
To help you come back home

I will be the homefire...
Ready to warm your tired soul
I will be the Heartbeat...
So you never feel alone

I will be the whispers...
Telling you what you need to hear
I will be the sweet dream...
So you never sleep with fear

I will be the sunshine...
As you wake to face the day
I will be the morning dove....
The one that will not fly away

And If you ever wonder...
"Could there be love for me?"
I tell you now my sweet one...
Look into your heart...and I will be
