Restless Lady

Restless lady in a gown of white
Walking to her love in the deep of night
Through forest and thicket she goes on her way
Her home was a prison...she could not stay

Thorns may snag at her ivory gown
Crickets and screech owls may call out a sound
But she knows her love sleeps far away
And she will walk 'til darkness meets day

With speed to her footsteps on a crusade she does go
Will she find her love...I truly hope so
Safe in his arms she will have eternal rest
Nightmares turned to sweet dreams...
Her head on his chest

So many people have a search of this kind
It's a constant battle between heart and mind
Close out the whispers and set your heart free
Do not become fated as the Restless Lady
