There is a thousand miles between us
But we are never far apart
I just open up a doorway
And I am home inside my heart
I feel you wipe my tears away
Your arms around me from the start
And I know if I ever need you
I will find you home inside my heart
I hear your playful laughter
As my temper flares up like a spark
How I love the way you tease me
Chasing me around the home inside my heart
And late at night I hear you breathe
Seeing your smile through the clouds as they part
And I will sleep with you in sweet dreams...
